Meizu’s ‘MI Note’ set to enter Indian mobile market, prepare to compete with Xiaomi

Tech News  – The company is also running a giveaway contest and to participate in the contest users have to reply with their ‘Meizu story’ on the company’s post  along with connecting three friends for which the winners will be announced on Saturday.

Speculations are being made that the giveaway prize might feature the smartphone company is planning to launch in India and is being sought as a take on Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 2.

The phablet, Meizu m1 features a  5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution shielded with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device runs on  Android 4.4.4 KitKat complimented with Flyme OS 4.0 atop. The device is clocked at 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64 bit processor  clubbed with 2GB worth of RAM.

Along with all this, it sports a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash on the rear surface and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone is available in 16GB and 32GB storage variants and doesn’t feature a microSD card. On the connectivity front, the handset gets LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Fueling its operations is a 3140mAh battery.  battery for long lasting usage.
